Se le dita sono lunghe e affusolate, reggono anche anelli importanti e lunghi, se invece sono più corte e cicciottelle, meglio indossare anelli più sottili, in grado di slanciarle. Il bon ton raccomanda inoltre di non usare anelli troppo importanti e grossi prima delle 17 e di non metterne troppi insieme sulla stessa mano. Per esempio, se si indossa uno CHEVALIER o anello da mignolo, è bene non indossare altri anelli sulla stessa mano.
