- carat weight

Once the indicative size has been identified, we will evaluate with you whether to choose a slightly smaller stone but with a greater color or purity or vice versa. Color is rated on a scale ranging from D (maximum) to Z (minimum, very yellow). To evaluate the color you need to analyze the stones on a white card. Purity instead includes these classes, from the purest to the least pure:
- IF Internally flawless
- VVS1, VVS2 Very very small inclusions
- VS1 VS2 Very small inclusions
- SI1 SI2 SI3 Small inclusions
- I1 I2 I3 Piquè
